A couple weeks back I went to Jacob's Mom's Weekend at his fraternity. I stayed at the infamous Econolodge,, yeah I live on the edge,, walk on the wildside,,,
Kaitlyn went with me on friday, as she had arranged to pick up an enlarger from this guy she had met on one of her excursions to Bloomington. What is an enlarger? It is a piece of photography equipment that you use in the darkroom to print photos. So we meet up with Jacob at his house and there were other mom's and guys around and I say.. "We have to go pick up her enlarger" nodding to Kait.. Everybody looks at her .. you can tell they are thinking "huh?" Nobody can embarrass you like your mom, eh?
Well it was a great weekend! We went out to dinner on friday night and then back to the frat house to play beer pong. I thought I would be terrible at the game, as I have never been good at sports, but I surprised myself,, I didn't suck at it! The next night we had a dinner and auction at the student union, then a live band at the frat. The band was great and Jacob was a good son and danced with me as much as I wanted! Fun!
When he was born, I got a card from a freind that said "Boys are fun!"
She was right!
