Remember the "I Love Lucy" episode where Ricardos and the Murtz's go to Paris and Ricky and Fred play a joke on Lucy and Ethel by having "haute couture" outfits made out of burlap sacks for them? Ha ha ha...I saw this pic in Town and Country magazine and it reminded me of it. Made me giggle....
Jacob had a great game against Northwestern last friday night. We were beat 58-54. But no shame,,as Northwestern is a 2-A school and we are 1-A. And they are ranked 4th in their class in the state.
Johnna had me concerned friday. She called and said she had severe pain under her left ribs. She went to the health center. They didn't know what was wrong, so I told her to go to the ER. They didn't know either. They ran tests and did X-rays, and still didn't know. I had talked to sis Teresa earlier that day and she described her own ordeal of pleurisy. It sounded alot like what Johnna described. Eventually the ER told Johnna they thought she was constipated or maybe it was pleurisy...
Well Johnna KNEW she wasn't constipated. They prescribed her some anti inflammatory drugs and by sunday she was much improved!
The home show is going on in Indianapolis this week and I sure hope I get to go!

Well..I just looked at my last post. The photo is from such a distance they look like ants! Jacob is #10. My advice is to click on the pic and then enlarge it. But hey, I'm proud of myself, I learned a new skill today! I can now scan pictures to the computer! This old dog can learn new tricks! (as long as their simple)

I got a basketball Jones...

Right now it's all about basketball. Jake had games last wednesday, friday and saturday nights. He has a makeup game tomorrow night. Fortunately these were all home games! He is a varsity starter and stays in the game almost the whole time unless they are winning by a lot. I will try to take some better pics. Our digital camera has that blasted delay thing, so it is hard to take "action" shots.
By the way, wasn't yesterday wonderful (weatherwise)???? Bobby was home and we cleaned out the garage. It felt so good to be outside, not even needing a coat.

Dechristmatization

I spent all day yesterday dechristmatizing the house. Funny how plain it looks now. Of course, it looks like it did before the christmatizing, so why should it be such a letdown? Oh well....
