Wedding day...July 23, 1983..er 2005
Last saturday was the big day, Calvin and Brooke's wedding! It was also Bobby and I's twenty second anniversary. I can't believe I'm old enough to say those things!! Ahhhhh...it was a beautiful wedding. Jacob was best man and Johnna and Kaitlyn were bridesmaids. Jacob was pretty nervous about giving the best man toast but he did fine....especially for a seventeen year old. The reception was alot of fun, good food and lot's of dancing! I was so proud of Calvin...all grown up!
Johnna and 3 of her girlfriends came today to lay out in the sun, do laundry, go tubing in the creek, and eat dinner. We had salmon on the grill, spinach/tortelini salad, deviled eggs, rolls with butter, and wine. It was all delicious. Johnna will be done with her physics class at Purdue next week and will be home for about 3 weeks before heading back to IU.

What a funny coincidence that my brother-in-law Jeff is friends with the bride! Jenn told me how Uncle Kevin spotted Jeff at the wedding, and just knew that he recognized him from somewhere.

Tubing and dancing and eating sounds like wonderful days of fun. But man am I late for this party or what, it's August 6th already, sorry.
